Product Design Engineer (Battle Creek, MI area / multiple openings) -

Utilize engineering skills to complete duties related to product design, quality and material requirements; perform complex analysis and design of cables and cable systems for automotive, mechanical, telecommunications, electronic and data transmission applications; complete specialized mechanical engineering feasibility studies to determine design manufacturability, material properties, resource costs and marketing potential for a variety of cables and cable systems; act as liaison with affiliate; and use one or more of the following: CATIA, GD&T, DOE, FMEA and/or AutoCAD. Requirements: Bachelor's in foreign educational equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or plus 1 year relevant experience. Will accept any equally suitable combination of education, training and/or experience which would qualify an applicant to perform the duties of the job offered.
